Construction is one of the most egregious polluters of the environment. In
fact, the industry is by far the largest generator of greenhouse gases,
accounting for a staggering 37% of global emissions. This includes emissions
directly produced by the construction industry, such as those from
machinery used on construction sites, along with emissions during the
operational phase of a building’s lifespan. What’s more, the built
